Randolph Community College Kicks Off Cultural Arts Series with One-Act Play Sept. 22
David Harrell was born without a right hand. His warm, smart, and engaging autobiographical one-man show, "A Little Potato and Hard to Peel," is not so much a show about living with a disability, but about the universal experience of overcoming any obstacle. Using humor, candor, and '80s pop culture references, Harrell shares his heartwarming story. This play has been performed in New York (off-Broadway) and in various theaters around the country. As Martin Denton, from nytheatre.com states, "...letting us walk with him in his shoes during this hour-long show is edifying and illuminating.
