Public Invited to Green Growth Training Workshop at Randolph Community College Nov. 2

The public is invited to a free Green Growth Workshop being offered to Randolph Community College by the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission. The workshop, aimed at educating students enrolled in the Environmental Biology course offered at RCC, has been opened to the public. Students, county and city planners, as well as other faculty and citizens of Randolph County are invited to attend.

The workshop is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1:45 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 2, in the R. Alton Cox Learning Resources Center auditorium at RCC's Asheboro Campus. The campus is located at 629 Industrial Park Avenue.

The workshop consists of presentations and hands-on exercises pertaining to how to incorporate priority wildlife habitat conservation into land use planning.
