Randolph Community College has been named a Military Friendly School for 2012 by G.I. Jobs magazine. Only 24 of the 58 community colleges in North Carolina have earned this designation.
RCC will be celebrating the designation with a flag raising at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 10, on the Asheboro Campus. U.S. Congressman Howard Coble and N.C. Senator Jerry Tillman are expected to attend the ceremony. Refreshments will be served in the Foundation Conference Center afterwards.
