Area residents interested in earned a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice are invited to a drop-in social and information session about the University Center of Randolph County's Criminal Justice program with Pfeiffer University. The event will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, at the Randolph Community College Foundation Conference Center on the Asheboro Campus.
Through the University Center of Randolph County, students with an associate degree in Criminal Justice can earn a bachelor's degree through Pfeiffer University without traveling outside the county. "The concept is to make a bachelor's degree more attainable and affordable than ever before," said Neil Weatherly, program head for Criminal Justice Technology at RCC. "We want to help the Criminal Justice professionals in Randolph County reach their career goals."
During the session on June 7, interested students will be able to get information about the bachelor's degree program through Pfeiffer, as well as RCC's associate degree in Criminal Justice Technology. Representatives from both RCC and Pfeiffer University will be on hand to answer questions and assist students with the application and admission process.
