Randolph Early College High School held its third annual commencement
exercises on Thursday, May 17 at Rushwood Park Wesleyan Church.
Sixty-one RECHS students crossed the stage to receive their high school
diplomas from the innovative high school located on Randolph Community
College’s Asheboro Campus.
Clark Adams, Randolph
Community College English/communications instructor, gave the graduation
address. Other speakers included Emily Smith, who gave the Valedictory
address; Noah Delk, who gave the senior address; and Hector Campunzano,
Student Government Association president. RCC President Robert
Shackleford and Randolph County Schools Superintendent Donald Andrews
also made remarks.
RECHS Principal Cathy Waddell presented the diplomas to the students.
