Randolph Community College’s efforts to provide classes closer to those
looking for training has been fulfilling a real need in several Randolph
County communities, including Ramseur and the East Side community of
Asheboro. On a recent morning in the city council chambers in the
Ramseur Municipal Building, 11 students were studying English as a
Second Language led by instructor Hector Rodriguez. The classes started
there in January.
