Randolph Community College’s Workforce Development and Continuing
Education Division will offer Career Exploration: Digital Imaging in
Radiography beginning Monday, Feb. 8. The class will give students some
insight into the field of radiography before they commit to the two-year
associate degree program.
This course is designed to provide students with an understanding and
knowledge base of the healthcare field, specifically radiography.
Students will learn radiography-related terminology, communication and
interview skills, time management techniques, as well as an overall view
of radiography itself. This 10-week course is designed to give students
a small sample of the radiography program. Guest speakers from
different modalities will also give students insight into some of the
other fields radiography has to offer.
The class will meet from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays,
Feb. 8 – April 13, on RCC’s Asheboro Campus. This course is fee-waived
to those who are unemployed, have been notified of impending layoff, or
meet eligibility requirements.
For more information or to register, contact RCC at 336-633-0268.
