Welding courses scheduled for the spring semester at Randolph
Community College include Basic Welding, MIG 1, and a new Basic
Fabrication course offered by the Workforce Development and Continuing
Education Division.
Two Basic Welding courses have been scheduled at the Archdale Center.
The first course (#59648), which is designed to teach basic gas metal
arc welding safety, fundamentals and techniques, is scheduled for 8
a.m.-2:30 p.m. on Saturdays, Jan. 14 through Feb. 4. The second class
(#59649) will also meet from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on Saturdays, Feb. 18
through March 11. Cost is $110.55.
RCC will offer a MIG 1 class
(#58888) on the Asheboro Campus from 5-9 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays,
Jan. 9 through May 3. This course introduces metal arc welding and flux
core arc welding processes. Basic Welding is a prerequisite, and the
total cost is $240.55.
