The demand for computer systems analysts in North Carolina is projected
to rise 15% between 2010-2020, according to data from the Employment
Security Commission of North Carolina. The median wage for those jobs,
which typically require at least a bachelor’s degree, was $80,600 in
North Carolina in 2012. In a rapidly evolving technology industry, businesses, schools, and governments are in need of Information Technology professionals to maintain and improve their digital workspaces.
If you would like to put yourself in a position to take advantage of those openings and other job opportunities, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and Randolph Community College, through the University Center of Randolph County, are offering dual enrollment to students to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Technology with a concentration in Information Technology.
