Randolph Community College Archdale Brings Back Landscaping, Jewelry Making Courses

Randolph Community College’s Archdale Center is introducing two new continuing education courses in March that haven’t been offered at the College for several years, according to Lisa Bock, director.

“Residential Landscaping and Lawn Care” is a practical course that covers the basic principles of landscape design for either the homeowner or an entrepreneur looking to start a business. This course will meet from 6:30-9:30 p.m., Tuesdays, March 20 through May 8. Cost is $65.

In the second course, “Beaded Jewelry Making,” students will learn the basics of making their own jewelry from instructor Johnnie Springett. The registration fee for this course is $27. The class will meet from 6-8 p.m., Thursdays, March 22 through April 12.
