Community resources for substance abusers and their families will be
the topic of an upcoming symposium at Randolph Community College in May.
The “2018 Substance Abuse & Mental Health Symposium: Community
Circle of Care” is scheduled for 8 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. on Friday, May 4 in
the JB and Claire Davis Corporate Training Center in the Continuing
Education and Industrial Center at 413 Industrial Park Avenue.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be offered.
Topics will
include the state and county’s response to the substance abuse/opioid
epidemic; the impact of addiction on children and families;
understanding access to care and available resources; and recovery
support and resources.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided. The
event is free and open to the public but space is limited, so register
early by calling 336-633-0268.

endowment funding the health and wellness projects of community
