Randolph Community College is launching a
Bilingual Language Institute, offering integrated ESOL and HRD classes
in English and Spanish, with a new community partner, The Salvation
Army. Classes will begin Monday, Sept. 8, and will run yearlong through
the spring 2015 semester.
English for Speakers of Others Languages (ESOL) courses are designed
to improve English speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. The
program provides language learners with essential life skills that
enable them to function in an English-speaking society. The goal of
Human Resources Development (HRD) courses is to educate and train
individuals for success in the workplace, especially those who are
unemployed or underemployed.
