Trained welders with sharp skills are in ever-increasing demand in Randolph County and beyond. According to College officials, Randolph Community College receives calls at least once a week from area employers in search of qualified welders.
In an effort to help meet the growing demands of the welding industry and to ensure that students gain the most-sought-after skills, RCC is launching new welding courses beginning in September through its Workforce Development and Continuing Education Division.
Advantages of enrolling in RCC’s welding courses include low-cost tuition and fees, low student-to-instructor ratio, hands-on technology training utilizing state-of-the-industry equipment, and the chance to learn from RCC instructors who have real-world, industry expertise.
