Seven Randolph Community College Global Logistics Students Receive Career Readiness Certificates

Seven Global Logistics students received their certificate of career readiness from the North Carolina Center for Global Logistics (www.nccgl.com ) on May 2 at Randolph Community College’s Archdale Center. The students completed four core classes in their logistics curriculum and were therefore eligible to receive the certificate.
           
In attendance were Dr. Robert S. Shackleford, president, Anne Hockett, vice president for instructional services, Lisa Bock, director of the Archdale Center, and Sara Butcher, Global Logistics instructor from RCC; Charles Edwards, executive director, and Kathleen Patterson, associate director, both from NCCGL; Steve Ridgill, plant manager of Dart Container in Randleman; and Angela Hazelwood, traffic manager for Hafele in Archdale. Both Ridgill and Hazelwood are members of the RCC Global Logistics advisory committee.
           
Students receiving certificates were George T. Hazelwood, Trinity; Thomas A. Mabry, Troy; Paula D. Motley, Lexington; Theodore S. Patterson, Greensboro; Dan W. Tanner, II, Asheboro; Gwen Dale Taylor, Archdale; and Taneesha L. Thompson, Sanford.
