Randolph Community College joined community colleges from across the
state in celebrating the legacy of Dr. W. Dallas Herring on March 6.
During a short ceremony, Dr. Robert S. Shackleford, RCC president,
unveiled a portrait of Dr. Herring in the Administration/ Education
Center boardroom. “Simply put, Randolph Community College would not
exist today without the vision and passion of Dr. Dallas Herring,” said
Dr. Shackleford to the group of RCC administrators, faculty, and staff
who gathered for the ceremony. “We are proud to be one of the 58
community colleges honoring him today,” said Dr. Shackleford.
