Randolph Community College Instructor on Panel for Global Logistics Conference

Randolph Community College Global Logistics instructor Sara L. Butcher will be part of a panel presentation at the North Carolina Center for Global Logistics conference on May 7 in Greensboro. The “Mapping Your Success Through Transportation & Logistics” conference is being sponsored by UNCG’s Bryan School of Business and Economics, Old Dominion Freight Lines, Best Services Group, and The HR Group.
           
“Women in Logistics: Their Success and Challenges” will be the topic of the presentation by Butcher and fellow panel members Sarah Gaillard, with Independent Container Lines; and Kasandra Carrabino, with Expeditors International moderated by Bob Moore of The Effectiveness Connections. The panel will discuss how they came to work in the industry, the challenges they have faced, and how to encourage more females to join the industry.
