Randolph Community College’s Workforce Development and Continuing Education will offer a two-day “IATF 16949 Standard Workshop” in April for organizations in the automotive industry who need to transition to this new standard.
IATF 16949:2016 is the new Quality Management System (QMS) standard
for organizations in the automotive industry. This new standard will
supersede and replace the current ISO/TS 16949:2009 standard. All
organizations currently certified to ISO/TS 16949:2009 will need to
successfully transition by Sept. 14, 2018.
The workshop will be held from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday,
April 18 and 20, in Room 223 of the Continuing Education and Industrial
Center on the Asheboro Campus. The cost of the workshop is $150.
