Eight Randolph Community College Photographic Technology graduates
were among the winners of the 2015 News, Editorial & Photojournalism
Contest as chosen by the North Carolina Press Association. RCC grads
won a total of 14 awards. The awards were given out on Feb. 25 at a
ceremony in Chapel Hill.
The Daily Dispatch (Henderson) photographer and RCC grad Mark Dolejs
was selected among journalists across the state as the winner of the
Hugh Morton Photographer of the Year Award for the Daily Newspaper
category. Dolejs also won 1st place and 2nd place for Photo Pages in
Division D (daily newspapers under 12,500 circulation).
