Randolph Community College's Cultural Arts Series will conclude in
April with two events. The Salem College Dance Concert of Student
Choreography will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 20, at Sunset
Theatre in downtown Asheboro, as a part of the 2015 Sunset Theatre
Cultural Series.
The Salem College Dance Company will perform a concert of student
choreography. Under the direction of faculty member Heidi Echols, the
Dance Company gives students an opportunity to explore the creative
process in any dance genre. This concert will be a mix of modern dance,
jazz, ballet and more.
In addition, Randolph Community College will host UNCG's North Carolina
Theatre for Young People with their children's play "Pinocchio," at 9:30
a.m. on Thursday, April 23, in the R. Alton Cox Learning Resources
Center auditorium on the Asheboro Campus. The event is free and open to
the public.
