Customer Service Course Set for Aug. 28 at Randolph Community College Archdale Center

Experts say customer service is one of the biggest factors that determines how successful a business will be. Randolph Community College’s Workforce Development and Continuing Education Division is offering a new course at the Archdale Center, “License to Serve: Customer Service 101,” which will assist business owners in identifying customer service skills that will enhance operations and sales. The course is based on the book “License to Serve,” by authors Joe Ilvento and Doug Price.

The one-session course, which is being offered in partnership with the Archdale/Trinity Chamber of Commerce, will be held from 6-9 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 28, in Room 320 in RCC’s Archdale Center at 110 Park Drive. The cost is $5.

Topics will include customer service insights, observations, and truths that support business best practices. This course will prepare any kind of organization—from public to private to nonprofit—with the necessary skills to exceed customer needs and expectations that ultimately increase profitability and future success.
