Voting for the Randolph Community College Foundation’s Dancing with the
Randolph Stars 2014 is under way and will remain open until noon on
Thursday, May 29. The public may vote for one or more of the 18 couples
who will be performing at this year’s event at www.dancingwiththerandolphstars.org. Every $10 donation equals one vote. Proceeds benefit students at Randolph Community College.
Each couple will perform a short dance routine at the event scheduled
for Saturday, May 31, at AVS Catering & Banquet Centre. The couple
with the most votes at the end of the evening will be awarded the
Dancing with the Randolph Stars trophy.
The initial
tickets for the May 31 event have sold out, but the Foundation will
maintain a waiting list in case tickets aren’t used. To place your name
on the waiting list, complete a ticket request form at www.dancingwiththerandolphstars.org.
The 2013 fundraiser netted over $120,000 for student scholarships.
