Ivy Marie Lindsey of Seagrove was honored as RCC’s 2014 Academic
Excellence Award winner on Thursday. Dr. Stuart Fountain, a member of
the State Board of Community Colleges, was on hand to give Lindsey a
plaque and medallion signifying her accomplishment. Dr. Fountain called
on Lindsey’s husband and two children to come up on stage with her,
recognizing that it was their support that helped her achieve her goal.
She will graduate with an Associate in Applied Science degree in
