Prospective auto dealers can take the DMV: Dealer Pre-License
course at Randolph Community College, which provides the 12 hours of
authorized prelicensing training required in North Carolina. Topics
include dealer license plates, vehicle inspections, titling and
registration, frequently used forms, and dealer disclosures. The course
(#67080) will be offered next from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. on Friday and Saturday,
Sept. 7-8. Registration for this course is $70. An additional section
(#67081) is scheduled for Nov. 6-7.
RCC’s Motor Vehicle Dealer Education course is
designed to meet the continuing education training requirements for Used
Vehicle Dealer’s license renewal in North Carolina. The next class
(#67082) is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 10, from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
Registration is $70. An additional section (#67083) is scheduled for
Nov. 8.
These courses are offered on an ongoing basis on RCC’s
Asheboro Campus located at 629 Industrial Park Avenue. For more
