Randolph Community College Line Dancing Class Set to Begin Aug. 21

The date of this class has changed. It will meet 8/21/18-9/25/18.

If you are looking for a fun, low-impact exercise activity, Randolph Community College has scheduled a “Line Dancing” class to begin Tuesday, Aug. 21. Dancing for an hour equals an average of 2,000 steps and 75 calories burned.

In the class (#67085), which will meet from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesdays, Aug. 21-Sept. 25, students will get moving to some of today’s biggest music hits and learn to move with confidence and stay fit while having fun. Students will learn several line dances including “The Wobble” and the “Cupid Shuffle.” This course is for any and all, beginners to advanced dancers.

The class will meet in the gymnasium in the J.W. “Willie” Plummer Vocational/Technical Center on the Asheboro Campus. The cost is $30.55. For more information or to register, call 336-633-0268.
