Randolph Community College’s Workforce Development and Continuing Education Division has scheduled a course in “Effective Grant Writing,”
to begin Thursday, July 12 at the Asheboro Campus. The class (section
#66802) will meet from 6-9 p.m. on Thursdays, July 12 through Aug. 23.
The cost is $70.
This course offers a project-based learning (PBL) experience.
Participants will be exposed to multiple topics that are essential to
effective grant writing, such as the power of collaboration;
communicating with program officers and influencing others for a
successful grant submission; types of nonprofit organizations and
funders; grant calendaring; how to decode a Request for Proposal (RFP),
and much more. The course is designed for staff at charitable nonprofit
organizations or foundations; board members at charitable nonprofit
organizations; staff at private educational institutions; staff at
nonprofit hospitals or hospital foundations; and staff at government
agencies, tribes, or state educational institutions that have a related
nonprofit organization or foundation that supports the government
entity.
