Randolph Community College’s Workforce Development and Continuing
Education Division is offering a unique look at the city of Trinity with
a new course in February. “Trinity’s Fascinating Past” will cover some
interesting facts and fables about the city.
Students will join former Trinity Mayor Fran Andrews to learn the
history of Trinity College and the locations of Civil War trail markers,
the Trinity Cemetery grave of a professor who helped develop the atomic
bomb, and a slave cemetery.
The class will be held from 6-8 p.m.
on Tuesday, Feb. 7, in Room 307 of the Archdale Center. The cost is
only $10, and refreshments will be provided.
