Randolph Community College’s Campus Store is currently participating
in Student Watch™, a national research initiative that gauges college
student attitudes and behaviors concerning course materials, online
learning and technology.
Student Watch is funded by the NACS Foundation, a subsidiary of the National Association of College Stores.
RCC students are encouraged to participate in the survey by going to www.studentwatch.org
from Oct. 3 through Oct. 21. As an incentive to participate, one
respondent from RCC’s campus will win $50 gift card to the campus store.
Additionally, one participant will win an “RCC Spirit Pack” including
some great RCC clothes and merchandise. Every student who completes the
survey at participating schools across the country will be entered to
win a grand prize of $1,000.
“We are excited to take part in this
national research initiative,” said Chad Conville, director of
auxiliary services for RCC. “On a local level, the results of the survey
will help our store better meet student needs and evaluate our
performance.”
The study is being conducted on more than 60
campuses across the United States and Canada, with a focus on helping
college stores better understand the evolution of course materials, how
they can best support their students, and how technology and online
learning will play a role in the future of higher education.
The
survey link will also be sent to students via their RCC email accounts.
