Randolph Community College’s 7th annual
Tree Lighting and Holiday Concert is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 3, at
the R. Alton Cox Learning Resources Center on the Asheboro Campus.
Beginning at 4:30 p.m., Santa and Mrs.
Claus will visit with the kids at the Armadillo Café. Activities,
sponsored by RCC’s Campus Store, will include coloring, writing letters
to Santa, games, and snacks.
The tree lighting will be at 6 p.m.
outside the LRC, with the concert in the auditorium directly following.
The event is free and open to the public, but seating in the auditorium

The Holiday Concert will feature Bells! Angels!, a handbell choir of
the First Presbyterian Church of Asheboro under the direction of Rick
Morgan.
RCC’s Asheboro Campus is located at 629 Industrial Park
Avenue. Take the McDowell Road exit off of U.S. 220 Bypass/I73-I74 and
follow the signs.
