Randolph Community College will hold information sessions soon for its
new Regionally Increasing Baccalaureate Nurses (RIBN) in the
Triad-Triangle program. Triad-Triangle RIBN is a partnership between
RCC, Wake Technical Community College, Durham Technical Community
College, Forsyth Technical Community College, and Winston-Salem State
University.
The program is designed to increase
the health of our community by making it easier and more accessible to
obtain a bachelor of nursing degree, according to Amanda Brewer, student
success advocate for the program. In addition, nurses with bachelor
degrees have more career and educational opportunities, she said.
The information sessions are set for Monday, Feb. 17, from 4-5 p.m. in
the Health and Science Center, Room 104, on the Asheboro Campus, and
Thursday, Feb. 20, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the same location.
