Randolph Community College’s Small Business Center will offer Rural
Entrepreneurship through Action Learning (REAL) classes at the college’s
new Randleman Center beginning in February. These free classes will
lead participants through the principles of constructing a business plan
with hands-on exercises.
The NC REAL mission is
to develop entrepreneurial talent through action learning and to foster
the creation of sustainable enterprises throughout North Carolina, with
special emphasis on rural communities.
The class
will meet in the Randleman Center from 6-9 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays,
Feb. 4 - 27. Topics will include an overview of the REAL course and
entrepreneurship, a self-assessment and introduction to business
planning, feasibility, marketing, operations, financials, and writing a
business plan. Students will present their business plans at the end of
the course.
The RCC Randleman Center is located at
100 Hilliary Street in the old police department building. For more
information or to register, call 336-633-0268.
