Randolph Community College Schedules Self-Defense Courses Beginning Feb. 4

Randolph Community College’s Corporate and Continuing Education Division has scheduled two Self-Defense courses beginning Saturday, Feb. 4.

Martial Arts Self-Defense for Women will teach women how to defend themselves when facing danger. The intent of this course is to give students self-confidence in compromising situations. The course will meet from 1:30-2:45 p.m. on Saturdays, Feb. 4 – 25.

Martial Arts Self-Defense (General) is an introductory course aimed at teaching the basics of self-defense with the goal of offering an assurance that everyone can control their circumstances. It will meet from 3-4:15 p.m. on Saturdays, Feb. 4 - 25.

Both courses will meet at The Karate Studio, 118 South Main Street, in Randleman. Cost for each class is $30, plus $1.25 for insurance, and students must sign a liability waiver. For more information or to register, call the Asheboro Campus at 336-633-0268.
