Prospective auto dealers can take the DMV: Dealer Pre-Licensecourse at Randolph Community College, which provides the 12 hours of authorized prelicensing training required in North Carolina. Topics include powers of commissioner, dealer license plates, vehicle inspections, titling and registration, frequently used forms, and dealer disclosures. The course will be offered next from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 9 and Jan. 10. Registration for this course is $70. Additional sections are scheduled for March 27-28 and May 14-15.
RCC’s Motor Vehicle Dealer Education course is designed to meet the continuing education training requirements for Used Vehicle Dealer’s license renewal in North Carolina. The next class is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 11, from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Registration is $70. An additional section is scheduled for March 29.
