Randolph Community College’s Archdale Center will offer a one-day course on Nov. 10 focusing on the changing funeral industry.
“Meeting the Funeral Service Needs of a Changing Population” is
designed to provide education and understanding about the societal
changes and trends (particularly with certain age groups) that are
affecting the funeral profession and suggest possible solutions for
addressing them.
This information will help funeral directors and
others in the industry communicate more effectively with and assist
family members of the deceased as well as individuals who are planning
their own funeral services. It will also cover marketing materials and
marketing strategies, updating or developing a website, strengthening
presence on social media, and planning for the future.
