Randolph Community College’s Workforce Development and Continuing
Education Division, in partnership with the U.S. Coast Guard Badin Lake
Flotilla, will offer an eight-hour Boating Safety class on Saturday,
Nov. 14.
Topics will include an introduction to boating; boating law; boat
safety equipment; safe boating; navigation; boating problems;
trailering, storing, and protecting your boat; hunting and fishing;
water-skiing; and river boating.
The class will meet from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. in the Continuing Education
and Industrial Center on the Asheboro Campus. The cost is $40.
