Randolph Community College Foundation Sets 2015 Dancing with the Randolph Stars

The Randolph Community College Foundation has announced the date for its 2015 Dancing with the Randolph Stars, a fundraising event to benefit Randolph Community College students. This will be the 6th year that local “celebrities” will take to the dance floor competing for monetary votes in support of the Foundation on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at the AVS Catering & Banquet Centre.

Proceeds from the event will go toward scholarships for Randolph Community College students. The 2014 event netted over $160,000 for scholarships, according to Ann Hoover, who will be co-chairing the planning committee along with Vickie Gallimore again this year. The pair have led the successful fundraiser since the inaugural event in 2010 and have seen the gross receipts go from around $97,000 the first year to over $200,000 this past spring.
