North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University Chancellor
Harold L. Martin Sr. and several academic leaders from its School of
Technology visited Randolph Community College on Nov. 6 to sign a
memorandum of agreement to offer a bachelor’s degree in Electronics
Technology with a concentration in Information Technology through the
University Center of Randolph County.
A&T State
University joins a growing number of higher educational institutions
who are making it possible for residents of Randolph County to obtain
advanced educational degrees without leaving the county.
“We are truly excited to be here,” said Dr. Martin, who noted that
A&T has made efforts to increase their engagement with regional
educational partners, such as community colleges and other University of
North Carolina schools. “We are committed to ensuring that (this
program) will be successful….a first rate educational experience.”
