‘RCC Presents’ Plans Tree Lighting/Holiday Concert Nov. 30

Randolph Community College invites the community to its “RCC Presents” 9th annual Tree Lighting and Holiday Concert, scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 30, at the R. Alton Cox Learning Resources Center on the Asheboro Campus. The RCC Presents cultural arts series receives support from the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Cultural Resources, with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Children will be able to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus in the RCC plaza beginning at 4:30 pm. There will also be refreshments and games sponsored by the RCC Campus Store. The tree lighting will be at 6 p.m. outside the LRC, with the concert in the auditorium directly following. This year, the Holiday Concert will feature the Back Creek Dixie Band of Asheboro.

The event is free and open to the public.

RCC’s Asheboro Campus is located at 629 Industrial Park Avenue. Take the McDowell Road exit off of U.S. 220 Bypass/I73-I74 and follow the signs.
